PIA Automation Canada has partnered with Hygia Health in the fight against COVID-19. PIA Automation is supplying first production lines for FFP3/ FFP2/ Face Masks machines to Hygia Health towards production of 3 Ply disposable face masks in their Vaughan, Ontario facility. “PIA has stepped up to the challenge with Hygia Health knowing the demand for high quality, locally produced face masks will only increase as the economy continues to open”, says Garry Ketschik, VP Operations PIA Automation Canada. “Our three-ply disposable mask is made of the highest quality locally sourced materials, for use in health care, business and public settings” says Sean Keenan, President of Hygia Health. Hygia Health’s face masks are in process of being ASTM F2100 certified by SGS. A portion of the face masks will be donated in support of local community groups and health care providers. The standardized machine design provides a consistent level of quality and a short lead time with daily output of up to 100,000 masks. PIA Automation together with Hygia Health is determined to increase support to customers and the community alike in the fight against COVID-19.
